Alongside facility improvements, coach education was one of the clubs vital priorities, it remains so to this day.

K.S.C actively promotes coach education to all our volunteers across all our different sports. The role of the coach within the club cannot be over emphasised. Coaches owe it to the youngsters with who they are working with to give them a fun, safe, structured expierience.

k.s.c are currently going through the SFA quality mark award/community club, to achieve this acreditation at least one coach from every team has to have attained level 3, we have over 50 level 3 coaches.

A minimum of one coach has to have childrens/youth licence, we currently have three. As well as promoting the national governing bodies courses we also have regular in-service days for our coaches. We also run a coach mentoring scheme.

Within our development plans we have a coach development plan to assist and direct our coaches.
